Hi, I have atm 2 x 4GB sticks of RAM Corsair LPX Vengeance 2400mhz on my PC. I just bought 2 x 8GB sticks of Corsair LPX Vengeance 3200mhz from a friend. When I tried to mixed them I had a BSOD. Now I run the new one without any problem but I can have them run at the same time. Do you think that there is a solution for that problem ? I don't know if it's worth trying to mix them because the new one have better frequency. Thank you for your help.

mix and match kits had mixed results and showed some inconsistencies in many areas. If you don’t require additional capacity, opt for the updated kit instead.

The system detected a conflict between the two frequencies. The recommended pair is Jedec at 2133MHz and 2400MHz. This mismatch might be the cause.

Occasionally blending RAM leads to complications. I’d just switch to the 3200s and continue.

Several people mentioned that mixing RAM can lead to problems, but could you tell me what CPU model you're using? Also, what speed are you setting for the RAM?

Thanks for your messages. Your i7 7700K has 8GB RAM at 2133Mhz. It seems your CPU might struggle with higher speeds. Since you haven’t changed the components, you could consider checking if your motherboard supports overclocking or if there are any firmware updates available.
