I previously owned a budget 2x4 DDR4 RAM package, which performed well. To support modded Minecraft, I upgraded to 16GB of premium RAM. Purchased a Corsair Vengeance LPX kit with two 8GB modules in dual channel. The system booted normally, matching BIOS settings for timing and voltage. After launching Windows, the machine would freeze briefly—about five seconds—before returning to normal. I reduced my CPU overclock from 4.0GHz to 3.75GHz, hoping it would resolve the issue. The problem seems more common during gaming or high-stress tasks.

Install Memtest86 and generate a bootable USB. Start it, verify memory stability for at least 12 hours (preferably 24+).
