Before I start investigating further, I've turned off the fast startup option in the power-plan settings. Recently, I assembled a new PC and started using Windows 10. The problem is quite unusual and difficult to diagnose since it happens unpredictably or almost always. At least I can't trigger it intentionally. Occasionally, when I attempt to shut down the system, things behave strangely: the monitor turns off, the motherboard and fans display RGB colors, while the fans continue spinning and the GPU's RGB stays active, preventing a complete shutdown. As you noted, this seems random—like if I shut it down immediately everything would function properly. The only consistent action before the issue appears is playing games for some time or several hours. Even then, it sometimes shuts down correctly. The power supply unit is functioning normally, as I noticed it worked fine on another machine with the same GPU but a different setup. Here are the specifications for reference: Motherboard: Z690 AORUS ELITE DDR4, CPU: i7 12700KF, RAM: 32GB (4x8 Single rank) at 3600 MHz, Crucial ballistix (XMP enabled), GPU: RX 6800XT, PSU: NZXT C850. I've updated to the latest BIOS, but the problem persisted even with the previous version. I cleared the CMOS and reinstalled Windows 10 version 21H2 again. The Event Viewer doesn't display any unusual activity when the issue occurs. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

It might relate to the 12th generation Windows version and a possible graphics card driver or USB issue. My experience was limited to that scenario only. Could be a bios configuration problem.

It seems like you're dealing with an issue on an Intel 12th generation system using Windows 10. Many users might be experiencing the same problem. Bios settings could be a factor, though it's hard to say for sure. If the problem is hardware-related, you could replace parts since everything is covered under warranty, but it's unclear what exactly is causing it.
