I've owned this Razer Cynosa V2 for quite some time now. Mostly it has performed well, but recently it's been facing issues with left-click. It seems to have started around 1 or 2 years ago? At first, it would click on its own while I watched a video, then pause entirely. Later, it would sometimes hold down the left-click button, freezing my screen and hiding the highlight. Eventually, the problem seemed to disappear, but then it reappeared again. Recently, it's been acting differently once more. A few weeks back, I noticed left-clicks were sporadic—sometimes they wouldn't register at all. When I pressed the mouse button while highlighting, it would release instantly, erasing the highlight. This happened intermittently. Eventually, I unplugged my mouse and switched to a spare one from my dad. It worked perfectly until recently. A couple of days ago, while playing Minecraft, it started double-clicking on its own with the new mouse. I'd break a block, then it would click the next one automatically. This kept getting worse until I replaced my original Razer mouse to test. It functioned flawlessly again—no more issues! I was relieved and then realized the problem had returned. Now it's happening again, but it's manageable. However, it's still frustrating. There are times when the mouse clicks sometimes or not at all. Spamming left-click in Minecraft works for a while, but there are noticeable gaps where it fails completely. It feels like either my computer or the mice might be involved, but I'm not sure what to do. This is really annoying!

Are you working with a laptop or a desktop? If it's a laptop, the touchpad might be behaving oddly, leading to unexpected clicks. Or perhaps an accessibility setting is causing issues for you. You could try using the same Razer mice on another machine, or ask someone else to test them on their setup if you don't have another device available.

Likely made from human skin and debris, break it down to reveal a tidy texture.

My mouse was acting up a lot and many of my clicks failed. I don’t have compressed air, but I do have a mouth. I actually blew into the bottom of my left click, and it stopped working! It wasn’t fully fixed, but it seemed to improve after that. My mouse had some debris inside that needed clearing. Using my breath helped ease the issue temporarily or maybe permanently.

I don't have compressed air, but I literally blew under my mouse's left-click and the problem just immediately got better. I can't confirm if it's alleviated permanently or if it's actually fixed, as I sort of also did this yesterday, too, and the mouse came out great for a short amount of time, but the solution is just dirt that's hiding in there! I think we do have compressed air, but my dad only knows where it is. Thanks! Edited June 3, 2025 by DarkPandaLord quote

It seems the Razer Cynosa V2 functions as a keyboard. If you discover the mouse's name, look up 'mouse name disassembly' and proceed.
