Occasionally power problems arise.
Hello! I'm trying to understand a recurring issue with my old PC setup. I assembled it in 2018 using an i7-6700K processor, an Intel 1070, 16GB RAM, a NZXT Silentcase, water cooling, and other components. About a year later, the machine began struggling to restart. When I tried to reboot it, it would shut down completely or freeze during the boot process. It would skip past the BIOS and get stuck in Windows setup, sometimes never reaching the BIOS itself, leaving only a black screen.
Over roughly two years, I replaced every part except the case and water cooler. The problem continues now, and I'm still unsure what's behind it. Could the water cooler be the cause? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. How can I help identify the root of this issue?
PSU has been swapped, and the disks have been removed one by one. I really don’t know what to do.
I've reinstalled Windows several times, driver chipsets have been downloaded and installed from both Intel and NVIDIA. I'm beginning to suspect the case might be the issue. Even though I've connected many peripherals, everything has been changed on that side too.
