Occasionally my system fails to detect the CPU AIO pump fan connector.
While setting up my PC, I occasionally faced issues with USB devices failing to boot. By just disconnecting and reconnecting them, I managed to fix the problem—likely resetting the motherboard’s USB hub, which restored functionality. Recently, however, a new challenge appeared: my motherboard isn’t recognizing the AIO pump fan header, causing the pump to stop and triggering an immediate CPU thermal throttle. I’ve followed all online troubleshooting steps—replugging devices, updating BIOS, verifying power delivery—but it still happens sporadically, unlike the previous USB issue. It’s puzzling how this differs, and I’m seeking advice from others if possible. My system specs include an RTX 4070 i7, 13700K Z790 UD AX, 850W PSU, 32GB DDR5 RAM.
