My System details: Operating system Windows 11 x64-bit
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 X (used)
Motherboard: AsRock B650M Pro RS (BIOS 3.10)
RAM: Kingston Fury RGB 2x 16GB DDR5-6000 (KF560C30BWEAK2-32)
GPU: Gigabyte RX 6750 XT (used)
Storage: WD Blue SN580 1TB & 500GB M.2 SSD
Power supply: Thermaltake SMART BM3 750W
Current status: Build approximately 5 months old.
Issue summary: PC sometimes fails to boot. LEDs on CPU and DRAM stay lit, but fans spin while RGB lights remain off except for RAM areas. Early indicator of POST status. Initially suspected RAM overclocking settings, but problem persists without any profile. First steps tried:
- Used one RAM stick only
- Swapped RAM positions with XMP 6000 profiles
- Performed full memory tests (0 errors) on both sticks
- Enabled Memory Context Restore and Power Down Mode
- Rebooted with different CPU, removed heat paste, refixed paste
- Verified all power connections
- Inspected motherboard for loose components or bent pins
No consistent pattern found. Asked forums and friends but no solution appears.
