I'm having this problem with audio crackling in RDR2 and some other games and i can't find a way to fix it. Here is what i've tried: My headset is Sennheiser EPOS GSP670 Different USB ports Both wired and wireless connection for my headset Changing Minimum and Maximum processor state to 100% in advanced power settings Uninstalling and reinstalling drivers for the headset Changing every possible audio setting in game Changing audio levels in windows Only thing i haven't been able to do is change the default format of the headset because it's greyed out for some reason. Specs: Zotac RTX 3070 Twin Edge LHR ASRock B450 Pro4, ATX-motherboard Ryzen 7 3800x Kingston HyperX Fury RGB DDR4 3200MHz 2x8GB G.Skill 16GB (2x8GB), Ripjaws V, DDR4 3200MHz Corsair 650W RM650x (2018) Game is located on an 500GB Seagate HDD Anyone have an idea what could be causing this? I cannot find a solution anywhere on the internet and i have been looking for hours. Thank you all.
I've faced this problem before, it's gone now but might come back because I'm cursed. My computer is really broken even a gold contributor can't help. All I can do is wish you good luck.
I should have mentioned that when I streamed the game on Discord to a friend, they also picked up the audio crackle. The effect wasn't steady—it would fade out and then return within a minute.
