Occasional shutdowns are happening now.
I upgraded my PC about a year ago and have recently faced various Windows 10 BSOD issues. The problems include irql not less or equal crashes, pfn list corruption crashes, kernel security check failures, page faults in non-paged areas, and memory management errors. I’ve reset the GPU drivers with ddu, runmed RAM tests, scanned for viruses/malware, and even performed a full system reinstall. I reviewed the crash logs carefully, focusing on recent entries with the red exclamation mark, but found no relevant crash information. The incidents are rare, occurring only occasionally. I’m seeking advice or solutions to resolve this matter.
Just arrived home and verified I'm running the essential ballistix. I also noticed the RAM was inserted into slots DIMMA2 and DIMMB2. I'll replace them now, unsure if that's why the issues occurred but hoping it resolved them.
I probably found the solution. After reinserting the RAM into the proper slots, I received an output, but the BIOS reported a memory overclock failure. It reminded me of a previous overclock that was advertised to work with any RAM type. I intended to revert it back to standard timing afterward, but checking the stock RAM specifications confirmed I had left the RAM overclocked by mistake. That could have definitely caused the issue.
