I've been working on this problem for weeks, trying to understand what's happening. I'm using Windows 11 home with the latest updates. There are occasional issues that are hard to describe—like it feels like a key is stuck on the keyboard, except it isn't. When I power off my computer completely and then turn it back on, I can't manage browser tabs by dragging them into new windows. The middle mouse click that opens scroll arrows disappears instantly. I can't type in random games, and videos seem to freeze or jump between pauses. These problems appear across different apps, not just one. The strangest thing is that rebooting fixes everything, even after a full reset. I've tried running the "reset this PC" tool and reinstalling Windows, DISM, SFC, CHKDSK, checked RAM, and scanned via Event Viewer. I'm still confused about what to do next. It seems like a hardware issue rather than a Windows problem, so I'm considering replacing the drive and testing it. I'm not sure why a reboot would help, but it's the only solution I have right now.
Are you looking for a Bluetooth keyboard that might fit in a bag and connect? I've experienced similar problems with a Bluetooth keyboard on my Mac, where it would connect from another room and the buttons would sometimes register. Have you considered using a different keyboard? It could be that the switches on your current one are malfunctioning.
I haven’t used a Bluetooth keyboard to verify the USB devices except my mouse, and I noticed the same problems. I also tried using a basic keyboard, but it didn’t help. The on-screen keyboard didn’t display any keys, which suggests the issue isn’t with the screen. Windows 11 seems to be behaving oddly in this situation.

It seems I haven't changed the BIOS settings on this machine before. I thought it would be a good idea. Now that the problem didn't occur today, it's a different situation.
