Hello everyone, I recently assembled a new PC but am encountering stability and booting problems. Here are the details:

Specs: CPU - AMD 7950X, Motherboard - ASUS Crosshair X670E, GPU - Gigabyte 4090 Aorus Master, RAM - Corsair Vengeance 96GB (2x48GB), DDR5-6000, CL30-36-36-76, 1.4V (CMH96GX5M2B6000C30), Storage - Samsung 990 Pro 4TB, Power Supply - BeQuiet Straight Power 12, ATX 3.0, 1200W, Cooler - LianLi Galahad Trinity 360 Performance II, Case - LianLi Lancool III, OS - Windows 11 Pro, 22H2, Build 22621.2506.

Settings: All components are operating under standard configurations. The RAM is set to DOCP I timings as per the manufacturer's guidelines. I had to manually adjust the UCLK/MCLK ratio to 1:1 in the BIOS, which is atypical since 6000MHz modules usually auto-optimize to 1:1.

Problems:

Initial Stability: During the first Windows 11 install, the system unexpectedly restarted while loading the BIOS.

Booting Issues: Occasionally, the PC freezes right after the ASUS ROG logo during boot-up, just before the Windows login screen appears. The display remains black. A forced restart was necessary.

BSODs and Random Restarts: Both during startup and while using Windows 11 (e.g., during TeamViewer sessions).

Sleep Mode Problems: Freezes and visual glitches appear on the Windows login screen when waking from sleep. A forced restart was required.

Black Screen Incidents: Once, after a period of inactivity, the PC displayed only a black screen and failed to boot. A CMOS reset helped restore responsiveness.

Root Causes:

- RAM issues: The system runs at DOCP I settings despite being designed for 1:1 operation.
- BIOS configuration: Some settings were altered but not fully resolved.
- Firmware updates: Motherboard code stuck at "Memory Training" (Code 15) before clearing to "00."
- Driver conflicts: Old drivers were removed, and GPU/chipset drivers reinstalled.
- System updates: Windows 11 was updated, but stability remained inconsistent.

Recommendations:

- Verify BIOS settings again, especially Secure Boot and Fast boot status.
- Recheck RAM timings and ensure they match the module specs.
- Run a full memory test (MemTest86) and monitor for errors.
- Consider a hardware inspection of the GPU and motherboard connections.
- If problems persist, explore firmware updates or contact ASUS support.

Feel free to share any further observations or links you think might help.

Version 48GB needs a BIOS update for stability on certain boards. Minimum BIOS 1410 is required, with 1415 also listed as compatible.

I checked the latest firmware installation. There might have been a problem during the update. Would resetting the BIOS and trying again work? Consider rolling back to an older version if needed. Testing Sticks at 4800 MHz without DOCP could be causing compatibility issues.

CPU-Z displays the version you have installed. The BIOS typically shows a different version number. It depends on your setup.
