My PC occasionally stops working when waking from sleep. It doesn't occur every time, but can happen at any moment. If it crashes, the screen stays black and the system doesn't respond. Changing the graphics driver didn't fix it, and the whole thing freezes. I need to force a shutdown to restart it. I think this might happen more often when connections drop during sleep, such as with a mouse that's unstable or the power adapter.

It's a laptop, but it seems tricky to handle.

It seems more likely when something disconnects during sleep it could enter a crash state. Disconnecting the mouse or charging the battery might help. Battery doesn<|pad|> to be unimportant in this case.
