Occasional freezes last for brief moments or longer intervals.
Good day guys, I just wanted to share this problem I had with my father's PC and might someone has an idea or give some help. Here is the problem: When I play games or even Installing big software, PC Freezes a few second or minute, but not doing shut down things, it just freeze a few second and freezes stop and come back again, after closing a game, it will eventually gone, like just browsing on internet, it did not freezes. I run many test like memtest, cpu and gpu temp test and usage, hdd is 100% health but has error in HD Sentinel. I knew this built was too old, but it works fine on med games/ The Specs: CPU: Phenom x4 B55 Ram: 8gb of Ram Hdd: Seagate 500gb GPU: Gtx 660 PSU: 700w Electron PSU
It seems HD Sentinel might be reporting a perfect health status for your HDD, but this could be unrelated to how fast the drive reads data.
health usually means the SMART status of the drive, though it doesn’t always capture every possible failure. My backup drive shows perfect health, but CrystalDiskMark indicates it’s only operating at roughly one-third the speed of typical drives. The new drive I just got has improved performance noticeably.
