Occasional freezes during login without any warnings or crash reports
I can assemble a new computer for myself. Since July I’ve experienced occasional crashes, forcing me to enter the login screen. It usually happens once or twice a month, but today it failed three times in a row. No logs are generated, and the system freezes briefly before returning to the lock screen as if after a restart. I’m confused because previously I tolerated about one to two crashes each month, yet now frequent ones are occurring daily. The issue doesn’t produce dump files or any error messages. The screen turns black for roughly three seconds and then I’m back on the login prompt, similar to pressing the power button. Performance tests with Furmark and Prime95 ran smoothly for an hour without GPU or CPU strain at full load. Temperatures stay around 80-90°C. There have been nine crashes since July 27th, with three in the last 24 hours. No specific software seems linked, sometimes it happens while using YouTube, Lightroom, or during games. No manual troubleshooting has been done; all drivers were updated recently. Memory tests passed, and BIOS is current. RAM modules are Corsair Vengeance RGB RT with XMP enabled, memory type DDR4-3200, CL16 2x16GB. Motherboard is ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming ITX with the latest BIOS. Storage includes Gigabyte 3080 Eagle OC (default speeds) and Corsair SF750 (750W). Operating system is Windows 10 Pro 64-bit version 21H2.
