My setup includes a Gtx 750ti GPU, Xeon 3440 CPU, a 1 tb blue hard disk, 240 gb Samsung Evo 870 SSD, an Asus P7H55 motherboard, a monitor from Acer 1400x900, 6gb RAM at 1333mhz, and a Corsair VS450 PSU.
Lately my PC freezes constantly with a persistent buzzing noise during games. The only solution is to unplug the power switch. This issue has happened three times today and is severely affecting my gaming sessions. Anyone who has faced this problem before should share their troubleshooting steps. Thanks ahead of time.
Edit: I also want to note that the buzzing sound when freezing comes from the headphones, not the PC case itself.

I just reinstalled a new version of Windows and the issue appears to be resolved. It seems the problem was related to RAM, as the 2 GB stick wasn't showing in BIOS, but after cleaning the RAM it no longer exists.

What is the age of your PSU in this setup? I'm considering swapping it for a more stable unit with at least 550W, possibly from a friend or neighbor. You should also check your home's wiring with a qualified electrician to ensure proper grounding. Regarding the 6GB RAM and 2+4, if you have that, consider using a good dual channel setup—otherwise, performance will be too limited now.

Searching for another PSU could be tough in a lockdown situation. Is there any alternative to confirm if the issue is with the PSU? If not, I'll consider replacing it. The freeze happens only during gameplay, not under stress tests. I'm thinking about adding either an 8gb or 4gb stick instead of the current 2gb one.

This Corsair VS model has recently improved significantly, becoming more suitable for basic use over the past few years.

Hi, sorry for forgetting. It's been three years since I purchased that PSU and I haven't encountered any issues since.
