Experiencing unexpected frame drops in your game. I've used Malwarebytes, custom power settings, kept CPU temperature below 60°C, and avoided throttling—plus tried more. Need further assistance. Hardware includes Ryzen 7 1700X, Asrock Pro4 AB350M, 16GB RAM, GSkill Trident Z RGB, GTX 1060, 6GB VRAM, NZXT S340, 240GB WD M.2, 4TB Seagate Barracuda, PSU Corsair CX550M, NZXT Kraken X62, running Windows 10 64bit.

Fortnite and Minecraft are popular games, but I haven't tried others yet.

No, not all drivers are the newest. Windows may be updated, but other drivers could still be outdated.

Hey there! Ryzen is cool, but the 1700X can struggle with certain games, even Minecraft.

I saw problems after the latest Windows update on my 1700X. I was using a 3200MHz system memory, so I had to lower it to 2933. Maybe I should recheck the stability.

I play Minecraft on both Windows and in VR. Since it relies on just a few cores, it may cause problems with Ryzen or any CPU that doesn’t handle single-core speed well. Fortnite shouldn’t be affected, but I think the Windows update might be the cause.
