I’m experiencing unpredictable and significant fluctuations in frame rate. Initially, performance is smooth for a short time, then it sharply declines. On osu!, I see a steady drop from 960 to 100-200 frames around BF1, with only about 200 frames left at 200 before reaching 5-10.

Specs: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/59478448
No overclocking was used.
Hardware: Asrock B450M Steel Legend, NVIDIA 3090 24 GB, AMD 5800X 8 core 16 thread, 32 GB RAM, Corsair Vengeance 3200 MHz, 700b EVGA.
Current build is the final version of my original setup, which is six years old.

Recently upgraded to a 1000 watt PSU, 860 EVO SSD (1 TB), 1 TB HDD, and B450M Steel Legend Pro GPU. Temperatures: CPU ~60°C, GPU ~70°C. Usage stats: OSU: 60°C CPU, 70°C GPU, 36% CPU usage, 21% GPU usage.

I recently switched to a new PC build and still face these performance issues. Even with normal desktop use, I experience brief freezes lasting about half a second before the game resumes. I’ve tried numerous fixes—resetting the OS, changing power supply, updating drivers, disabling unnecessary apps, using Malwarebytes, clearing files, updating Windows, reinstalling components, turning off background programs, and even using VSYNC. I also looked at forums for solutions but found nothing helpful.

I’m frustrated because this machine is old yet still struggles with smooth gameplay. My only certainty is that the RAM or SSD might be the root cause, though I can’t replace the RAM right now. I’ll keep trying and update soon.
