Occasional drop in frames during gameplay (Alienware Aurora R13)
i don’t have much knowledge about pcs, so i thought someone here could assist me.
recently my fps will drop from a steady 180 to around 40 for a few seconds then return to normal again and again.
i’m not sure what’s causing this and have been trying various fixes without success.
someone told me it might be related to thermal throttling, with fan temperatures staying between 74°c and 79°c when it happens—could that be the real issue or something else?
edit: for some reason the temperature drops when this occurs.
