I'll begin by describing what occurs. I'll play a game similar to Ark Survival, and after 2 to 10 minutes my entire PC will completely shut down, restarting with all RGB lights off, no keyboard illumination, and nothing else. Before this happened, my new 5900x model worked fine, unlike my previous 3700x or 6700XT which crashed over two years despite the same components. I've swapped out the PSU, GPU, and re-seated the CPU multiple times, tried various DDR4 RAM sticks, but the issue persists. Any suggestions?

Turn off the multi-plane overlay. Ensure you're using the newest BIOS and chipset drivers.

We require additional details such as the exact GPU model, power supply specifications, and motherboard information. Based on typical experiences, these situations usually stem from BIOS configuration errors. When upgrading from an older AM4 board to a newer Ryzen series CPU, a BIOS update is necessary. Try reinstalling all previous components and check if the system boots correctly. If it does, replace the CPU only and observe if the shutdown occurs immediately. A persistent crash suggests a CPU or BIOS problem. If replacing the GPU resolves the issue, the power supply may be inadequate or faulty. During reinstallation, inspect for damaged capacitors, loose connectors, or shorted pins in PCI-E slots, memory slots, or CPU connections. Without precise hardware specifics, it's challenging to provide a targeted solution.

this was a huge number of replies much quicker than anticipated. thank you. my motherboard is an ASUS X570-P, the GPU is an MSI Gaming X Trio 6950XT, the PSU is an EVGA 850 GT. I just updated the chipset drivers, did a DDU reinstall and a BIOS update. I’m planning to test it again now.

You've just reinstalled the drivers but the problem persists. You're considering purchasing a new motherboard to potentially resolve the issue.
