I assembled my initial PC. Components: Processor – AMD Ryzen 7 5700G (with built-in cooler), Graphics – Zotac 3060ti Twin Edge LHR Board, Storage – NVMe SSD WD 570 1TB plus Crucial P2 500GB, RAM – Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB at 3600MHz, Case – NZXT C650, Enclosure – iCue 4000X. I’ve been operating it for a few months. My HP v224h 1080p 60Hz monitor was functioning properly. Recently, I acquired a TCL C735 4K TV (144Hz) and attempted to link them. I connected the monitor via DisplayPort and the TV through HDMI to HDMI. The cable I use is a Ugreen HDMI 2.1, 5-meter version rated for 8K at 60Hz (48gbps). I notice intermittent signal loss where the display goes blank briefly. Occasionally there’s interference causing partial images or noise. No specific application triggers this. Even when the PC starts up without any app running, the issue persists. Only one cable supports 4K at 120Hz and a single monitor is connected. The problem disappears when I remove any component from this setup. However, when I switch to 1080p at 30Hz, the issue remains unresolved. This suggests more than just bandwidth limitations. Additionally, I suspect potential power quality issues—voltages fluctuate between 220 and 275V, and the neutral line shows spikes above 200V. Since none of my devices are grounded, it’s possible the wiring is contributing to interference. Drivers are up to date. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the update. I managed to locate an HDMI cable that came with my Xbox One S. It performed well at 4K 120Hz and 1440p 144Hz. It looks like the problem might be related to the cable itself or its length. A 5-meter cable seems sufficient for a 1080p 60Hz display. I’m wondering if adjusting software settings would help with longer cables, or if the cable simply can’t handle higher refresh rates over that distance.
