I experience brief (< 0.5sec) stutters in games such as Modern Warfare (2019). These occur during logo loading and while areas are seemingly loaded within the game. My games reside on two separate SATA SSDs, with Windows 10 installed on an M.2 SSD – indicating adequate storage performance. I have no background processes running and the NVIDIA overlay is disabled. It's possible BIOS settings are causing the SSDs to underperform despite benchmark results appearing normal. I’ve also moved Modern Warfare to the same M.2 SSD as my Windows 10 installation, but the issue persists.

If you’re running in Modern Warfare 2 specifically, it’s a known issue that setting the display mode to just “Fullscreen” is required; any other Fullscreen option, such as “Borderless Fullscreen,” can cause video stuttering.

Provide complete system specifications. Include manufacturer and model number of power supply unit (PSU). Report CPU and GPU temperatures and utilization rates. Detail RAM and SSD usage metrics. Conduct a malware scan.

Non-exclusive fullscreen modes continue to utilize the desktop compositor, resulting in some performance degradation.
