Occasional black displays and restarts?
My Windows 11 laptop unexpectedly displayed a black screen and restarted. I updated the Intel Wireless driver, graphics card, and ran a Windows update to the latest version, yet the issue persists. I executed sfc /scannow, but no damage was detected. Here is the report from Windows Reliability Description.

Assuming you have a Ryzen 9 4900HS, follow the link for your APU driver: https://www.amd.com/en/support/down...ze...900hs.html. If your device uses an Intel processor, reinstall the newest chipset drivers manually. For the GPU, use the Nvidia App. Ensure no BIOS updates are pending, then run DDU in Safe Mode to clear all GPU drivers (Intel, AMD, Nvidia), restart, and install the latest driver from Nvidia's support site with administrator privileges.
My laptop
Please pass on the make, model and SKU to your laptop. As for the other things on your laptop, check to see if you have any BIOS updates pending.
I've updated the Intel Wireless driver, graphics card, to the latest.
Using a third party app or did you manually source their drivers from your laptop's support site?
What sort of temps are you seeing when the black screens are triggered? Can you reproduce the issue at will?
Thanks for the reply,
My laptop is an
Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 GA502IV
, and as for updating the bios, I haven't checked whether there is an update or not.
For the Intel Wireless driver I used the Intel Driver Support and Assistant software, for the GPU I used the Nvidia App.
I didn't really pay attention to the temperature when this happened, but previously my laptop used to run at 50 degrees Celsius when idle and maximum more or less 95 degrees Celsius when gaming or at max performance for the CPU and more or less the same thing on the GPU. but previously there was no problem with my laptop running at that temperature

Thank you for your message.
Your laptop has a Ryzen 7 4800HS with Radeon graphics and an RTX 2060 with Max Q design. When you looked at the link, it mentioned drivers only for the Ryzen 7 4800 H, not for the 4800HS. That should be fine if you use it.
I checked the BIOS version and it's already up to date, so I'll try using it with DDU.
I'll come back soon with any updates.
Thanks.
Alright thanks for the informations, i'll be back with any updates. Thank you
