I would like to overclock my current build that I've been using stock for a while. My first attempt a few weeks ago set it to 4.2Ghz and it's running fine, but I think it's getting a bit hot. I'm wondering if upgrading the cooling fan is necessary. My target is to reach 4.5Ghz. Any suggestions?

Sorry for interrupting an old discussion, but try adjusting your OC to the one you want, then watch the temperatures. If they become too high, lower the OC slightly until things stabilize.
