Hey there, can I help you with that? I own a system with the Intel DG43GT, Q9550, 6GB RAM, H410R air cooler, a PSU, and a Cypress Venus 600. Do you think it's possible to overclock the Q9550 to 3.0 GHz, and if so, would you like some guidance on how to do it?

This business type MB has a 95W CPU limit. It likely lacks overclocking capabilities in the BIOS and won't accept unlocked 130W CPUs.

The Q9550 is about as strong as it gets for this setup. The 3GHz Q9650 is significantly pricier but offers only minor improvements.
