Hi.
Attempting to OC my i5 4690k to 4.4 GHz. Set vcore to 1.180 after 1.160-1.170 failed. Then it worked in Aida with stable temps under 68°C. Fixed core mode was applied. Previously ran at 4.2 GHz with vcore 1.140.
Today I powered on and everything was extremely slow. All components were sluggish. Verified clock speed remains at 4.4, CPU usage stayed low at 10%. Voltage readings were consistently between 0.1-0.4V, occasionally dropping to 1.180 briefly before performance improved. Why is this happening? Vcore should be 1.180 in fixed mode. Are there other BIOS voltage settings I should inspect? VIN remains auto/stock.
Thanks!

At the edge of stability, increase the voltage slightly.
