My CPU increased from 4.00 to 4.20ghz
Is this secure to operate?

A modest overclock is quite safe, but you might achieve similar results with lower voltage if you adjust it in your BIOS—this approach is safer and better for the CPU. Lowering the voltage improves performance while keeping the same clock speed.
If you prefer not to experiment or fear a blue screen, you can simply leave it unchanged.
Edit: I just realized the 8350 already runs at a turbo clock of 4.2Ghz, so there’s really nothing to change. 😊
