On the other hand, if it only increased to 4.4 GHz from 3.6 GHz, it might be treating it as a single-core setting despite having multiple cores available. For games like Battlefield 1 or V, using the stock settings with a balanced core speed usually provides better stability and performance across different scenarios. If you're looking for gaming performance, sticking to the recommended core settings from your motherboard manufacturer is generally safer and more optimized.
