oc 1700x strange
Good evening everyone
I own a Ryzen 1700X to 3900MHz with a voltage of 1.39375V, VSS 0.9250 calibration high high and extreme power VTTDCCR up to 0.680V. I operate in offset mode because my ASUS B350F gaming doesn’t support precise voltage settings for AIDA64. My idle is around 72°C and 32°C during load, with the Vcore dropping to 0.980V only under stress. When I stress under AIDA, it spikes to 3962MHz on eight cores before returning to 3900MHz. If I ride my OC, will that cause a noticeable peak? It’s confusing—I’m not sure. Thank you for clarifying, Manuel French boy
My R7 1700 reaches its peak around 4.2 when running at 3.8/9. I never raised my voltage beyond 1.35 for any duration. I prefer the "balanced" power plan over the "Ryzen" option, and it gives better performance. (also B350)
Hello
thank you for your response—I overclocked using the BIOS. I plan to drop to 3850 mz and 1.35 v. Will you confirm if the advice about VOSC at 0.925 is correct? My RAM performs well at 2933, but does it improve further compared to 2666 in terms of frequency?
Thanks for your help
Have a good evening
