I recently purchased a laptop and want it to run Linux natively. I aim to use QEMU with Windows running GPU pass-through for gaming and educational software. Based on what I know, the CPU and motherboard appear capable of virtualization, and the presence of an integrated GPU suggests DGPU support in the VM. Since the original Windows version came with an OEM license, it seems unlikely you’d need a separate key unless you install a new one. From what I understand, licenses are tied to the hardware, so transferring them might not work. You managed to locate your product key via the command line, but I’m unsure if it will function in another setup. For reference, the laptop model is an Asus Tuf A15 Fa607nu. There’s a tutorial discussing how someone achieved this without fully removing their Windows installation: https://blandmanstudios.medium.com/tutor...e521850385. The product key you mentioned is available here: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/find-windows-product-key.
