It's the latest French ISP "Orange" device, the "Livebox 5". The new box sound is great since their built-in OS lacks many features... Are you thinking of a router model?

It seems like this might be a modem/router package. Check with your ISP about compatible modems. If it's just a phone or another device, there are many options available, but ask them for approved models.

It's a modem/router combo, likely using GPON. You're correct, I'll contact them to confirm. Thanks for all your assistance—I've researched a lot tonight and believe changing this box is the best option.
