It seems someone referenced it while playing Terraria today. I don’t understand the problem or how to resolve it.

It doesn't seem to have happened before the update. I downloaded the proper Realtek drivers from the Windows 10 site, and it feels a bit smoother now—less squeaky and more subtle. As I mentioned earlier, everything seems to function perfectly right after launch.

It could be the game bar appearing. It might be a bug, but you still hear the sound it produces. Open the Xbox app, go to DVR, and disable the feature.

I turned it off and it seemed to improve a bit. Now it feels like a medium to low level, similar to when the game starts and then plays well. It might have been fixed before Windows 10, but I didn’t notice it. Is this typical? I’m using an old Logitech 2-1 speaker and a Razer Kraken headset, and I’ve heard it on both.

It seems there might be an issue with your sound card drivers. Ensure you have the most recent drivers installed and verify for updates regularly.
