The monitor began behaving oddly yesterday and you've tried several fixes like a different cable, adapter, and power supply. You think the issue might be with the VGA connection inside. You're unsure if you need to open the monitor to inspect it. Restarting the PC or using the display settings to detect another screen could help. Your system details are noted: GPU RTX 3060, CPU Ryzen 5 5600, 32GB RAM Kingston Fury 2x16 at 3200Mhz, EVGA 650W power supply, TUF GAMING A520M-PLUS OS, and Windows 11.

I purchased one recently, likely after the other broke, possibly causing damage to the monitor. I also tried another model my brother used, but it had the same issue.

It could be worth upgrading to a newer screen for around $100. Are you in the Lansing area of Michigan?

I live in Hungary and can't afford a new monitor. I have a tight budget, so maybe I'll disassemble it for a DIY side project.

Once you open it, examine the circuit boards.
