I believe I discovered the source of those high temperature issues. After removing the tempered glass panel, the case reached 80°C on the Cinebench 20 (previously 90°C). I might need a new fan to expel the hot air (Phantek P350X). Now the main problem is those sudden spikes—when playing a game with the case open, it drops to 60°C but jumps back up to 70°C in a second. It seems like a repeating cycle, increasing by about 10°C every minute or so before returning to normal.
They noted that there’s minimal variation in the screenshot, with only slight ups and downs. It’s not a completely flat line, but that’s typical. The fluctuations here are around ±5 degrees, which is normal. It’s hard to maintain a steady temperature without hitting the extremes (like 100% or 0%), so these small changes make sense. The system is complex with many factors, and minor temperature shifts usually don’t affect performance much. Unless another CPU usage spike happens, the temperatures won’t rise as dramatically. The fan will spin more if needed, but overall it shouldn’t cause concern.
Also a major issue. hWmonitor stopped working on Ryzen and it's still unresolved. Switch to Ryzen Master instead.
It's interesting to see the Ryzen temperatures staying around 60°C during gaming. I'm surprised my monitoring tools didn't catch any unusual spikes, especially with programs like Afterburner and Gigabyte Smart Fan 5 showing them. That's reassuring. Regarding browser tabs, those temperature increases are typical and usually harmless.
Absolutely - that's the final figure. Thermals never stay steady; they always change. For AMD, Ryzen Master and HWiNFO are the most reliable. With Intel, you can include Real Temp too. HWMonitor, CPU-Z, Afteburner all fall short when it comes to CPU and power readings.
