Hi, I just completed assembling my first PC and was excited to start gaming right away. However, I checked the CPU temperatures and noticed they’re quite high. This build includes a Hyper 212 EVO cooler with a 5700XT Red Dragon Aorus 570X Elite setup—along with 16GB RAM, multiple case fans, and a case made of acrylic. The ambient temperature is around 20°C. I expected better performance but didn’t anticipate such high temps. I haven’t adjusted BIOS settings or clock speeds yet, and I’m not sure what changes to make. I saw the CPU core fluctuating when using Ryzen Master, which might explain the instability. Any suggestions on how to lower these temperatures? Thanks!
Prime 95 isn't a daily stress for a CPU. The 95C with the stock cooler works just fine. Under typical usage, temperatures stay acceptable, and idle temps are also okay.
It seems the numbers around prime 95 are still what I expected. I thought idle and gaming temps would drop, but since I'm only running at about 30% usage and not exceeding 1080p at 60-120 hours, things should be more stable.
Games don't need to run on the CPU all the time. Temperatures are usually acceptable.

I also faced issues with my new Ryzen 2600. I reduced the idle temperatures and eliminated the fluctuations by manually adjusting the CPU voltage in the BIOS by 0.09. EDIT: The original cooling solution is poor; it's definitely worth investing in an aftermarket cooler.
those temps are on the low side for "stock", ur fine, i recommend a -0.05v voltage offset.
