When choosing game capture, you can pick any full-screen app or a particular window. Choose the specific window and then select the game you want to capture. Also, ensure that the game source appears first in the list. Make sure your game source is at the very top. If you still see only a black window and you have an NVIDIA graphics card with an iGPU... turn off OBS. Open the NVIDIA Control Panel. Adjust 3D settings: switch from Global to Program settings, then locate OBS, go to CUDA settings, change the preset from Automatic to your specific GPU. Apply changes.
