Hi there! I've been using a PC for roughly four years. My cousin helped me set it up with a custom build, but I sometimes catch myself watching Linux tutorials when I have time. Recently, I decided to replace my case and CPU cooler, which taught me how to take a PC apart and put it back together. I managed to get it running for the first time without any issues. I was browsing white mobos online and spotted an NZXT model, curious about what others thought. I don’t know many trusted YouTubers or clear guidelines on what makes a good motherboard. I’m also thinking about getting a Ryzen 7 9700X soon. After watching a review from four months ago, most complaints seemed to come from its factory settings not being optimized well. Is that still true? Would I need to update BIOS or the system during installation? Cheers!

Hardware Unboxed tends to be the main choice for motherboard reviews, though alternatives exist. Overall, these boards are decent. They’re typically a bit pricey compared to their features, but still reasonable. Being OEM from BioStar, they’re essentially BioStar models. While I’d prefer other brands for better value, if you’re drawn to the look, this isn’t the worst option available.
