My Friend has recently changed cases to a Lian Li model and discovered it might be linked to a fan and light controller. He removed the power supply connector, which was a 600W EVGA PSU, and is concerned it could lead to a short circuit in his PC.

Since NZXT updated the power cable, there are two options. If it's a modeler power supply, you can unplug the cable and take it out, or cover it with electrical tape or heat shrink.
