NZXT control hub V2 is a modern interface solution.
Hey there! Welcome to the forum for the first time. I’m new with computers and just starting my PC build. I have a NZXT 510 Elite, which already has fans and the RGB plugged in on the control hub v2. It’s pretty straightforward so far. The only challenge is figuring out how to connect the power to the control hub. There’s a cable that comes out, and it says you should connect power to the PSU. But the cable isn’t long enough for the power supply or the motherboard. It mentions a SATA connection and looks like a 15-pin connector. I also have an Asus Prime Z390 motherboard. Anyone has any advice on how to connect it?
It should include two cables—a USB header cable and a power cable. I think the power cable uses a Molex connection. Your PSU should have all the necessary cables. Simply use a SATA cable, attach it to the SATA output on your PSU, then link it to the Hub’s connection. It should also connect to a USB 2 header on your motherboard. Check your manual for the exact location; they often label it as "USB" or nearby, though it can be hard to see. In my case, they’re usually found at the bottom of the board. Good luck!
It doesn't link directly to your power supply unit. It links to a SATA port in the same way an SSD would.
