Hello, a friend of mine encountered an issue with a new MSI laptop that came without an operating system. The model is an MSI Stealth 16Studio A13VF-038XES. I looked into possible fixes and found that the drivers might be the issue, specifically needing a particular version of INTEL RST. The one I tried didn’t work, but I managed to locate it on the MSI website. It seems like a driver-related problem since the BIOS recognizes the SSD but the Windows installation media tool doesn’t. Also, when booting from the SSD versus using the USB Windows image, the system behaves differently—this is confusing and I’m not sure what’s happening or why it matters. Help would be appreciated.

I resolved it by pulling the drivers file from the setup IRST.exe using PowerShell, avoiding the need to just provide a zip file. This method works well when installing from the Win 10 installer.

I understand you're facing the same problem again. Let's break down a detailed solution together. First, identify the core steps needed to resolve it. Then, follow each action carefully—check requirements, gather resources, test solutions incrementally. If you share more specifics, I can tailor the guidance further.
