I have a Z490 Aorus Elite Ac motherboard and I put the NVMe in the M2B_CPU slot but it isn't detecting it. It's using Windows 10, and it's a brand new PC build. I need assistance so I can use it properly.

If you see the "select a proper boot device and restart the computer" message, you can open the BIOS settings and adjust the boot order. Set the priority for the NVME SSD containing your boot drive. Also, verify whether your motherboard uses Legacy or UEFI boot mode—test both to determine what works. That should help clarify the issue.
