Hey there! Just started this forum and wanted to share a recent challenge I faced. I assembled my new PC outside the case, ran a first boot, and everything worked fine. After mounting all components into the case and starting up, one NVMe SSD (the main M2_1 slot isn’t detected in BIOS) stopped working. I tried re-seating it, but nothing changed. I’m guessing a short circuit might be the issue, especially since my case came with pre-installed stands and I didn’t lose any screws during setup. Anyone have ideas on what could be causing this? How should I test and fix it? Thanks a lot! P.S. Here’s the setup: Case – Corsair 4000D airflow; Board – Asus ROG Strix B650e-F; SSDs – Samsung 990pro. A screenshot shows the problem during initial testing.

I face the same challenge, yet it seems no one has found a way to resolve the matter.

Assumed you're using an iGPU-only setup. Verified if the M.2 slot is linked to any features. Show me a picture of your installed SSD.
