I've been working on this new build for several months and finally managed to install it a day ago. But right when I started, I hit a roadblock. My graphics card isn't displaying properly or functioning at all on the motherboard I purchased (Gigabyte B550 DS3H). I'm compiling this detailed timeline and notes in case it helps identify the issue. Here are my current specs:

- Motherboard Model: B85M-G43
- RAM: 16GB DDR3
- GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060
- CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-4790
- Power Supply: Cooler Master Masterwatt Lite 700
- Case: Thunder liquid cooler

I upgraded to:

- Motherboard Model: Gigabyte B500 D3S
- RAM: 16GB DDR4, 3600Hz
- GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060 (same)
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600
- Power Supply: Cooler Master Masterwatt Lite 700 (same)

I also acquired a case and a liquid cooler. The problems I faced with my previous PC that prompted the upgrade were:

1. System wouldn't boot into BIOS; using DVI instead of DisplayPort caused temporary fixes.
2. Performance bottleneck felt noticeable.
3. Games like Forza Horizon 4 would freeze briefly, and Logitech G29 wouldn't work as expected.
4. Inability to enter BIOS limited me to installing Windows over another OS, making drive formatting difficult—potential file conflicts.
5. Recent overheating of the graphics card made me suspect thermal paste issues.

Now, after testing on different motherboards, the card stopped showing and PC Builder warned it was dead. I bought it in 2019, and he mentioned its lifespan is only 3–4 years—surprising! After a long day with many customers and driving home in the dark, I finally spoke to the technician. He still pointed out the graphics card as the culprit, but now I'm considering other factors.
