It seems the advertised amount didn't materialize as expected.
When you view the video closely, every voice sounds typical except during the part where a clear green gas is being released. It’s probably more likely there’s a storytelling reason for the high-pitched tones in that scene, since they don’t appear this way elsewhere. In fact, it seems like AMD might have been misleading by suggesting the 970 model didn’t have 4GB of VRAM when it actually does.
Based on experience using the 970 SLI for 4K, it works fine. That claim from AMD was misleading. People often think only 3.5GB can be used, but that’s not accurate. Their marketing focused on the 4GB figure without proper context. If they highlighted the 512-bit bus and bandwidth, it would show real benefits, though actual gaming gains are limited. Don’t let false ads mislead you—real performance depends on how you use it.
HOW!!! My 970 has 4Gb of ram.. it Physically has it. You can touch it even if you want. What you complaining about is the speed difference between 3.5gb of it and the final 500mb. But that 4gb on the box is CORRECT!! the marketing department didn't lie. they said 4gb and it has 4gb.
