You're facing a compatibility challenge. The NVIDIA GT 730 uses PCIe, but your target machine only has a PCI x16 slot. The HP a6512p supports PCIe, so it should work with the GT 730 if you connect it to a compatible PCIe slot. Make sure the power supply and other components match as well.

Some platforms don't clearly distinguish between PCI and PCIe, which seems odd. Typically, if it mentions "x16," you're safe to proceed. PCI offered fixed speeds without the lane variations found in PCIe.
