NVIDIA GeForce GT 720 overclocking guide
NVIDIA GeForce GT 720 overclocking guide
Hello everyone, I'm fairly new to overclocking and had no idea it existed until a friend introduced me a couple weeks ago. My graphics card isn't anything special but I would like to know how much overclock it. I followed all the steps using the heaven benchmark program, msi afterburner, etc but I couldn't see much of a difference. Someone made a video of overclocking my exact graphics card but my settings (http://gyazo.com/e786c992351e31dbe70b5e25e9ad4184) look completely different. Here is the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwuL0cKIUVw. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know! Thanks
Frankly if you noticed anything during the overclocking process, I would be surprised. The card has very limited hardware capabilities. Here’s how it breaks down:
you have 10 and can reach a 10% boost of your 10. This results in 11.
I have 50 and can achieve a 10% increase on my 50. That gives me 55.
My extra 5 is nearly half of what you have even after the boost.
I can’t definitively say this from just the comparison, but I think you’ll see the direction.

Frankly if you noticed anything at all when overclocked I would be surprised. The card has very limited hardware resources. I laid it out this way.
You have 10 and can reach a 10% boost of your 10, which gives you 11.

I don’t have a clear way to compare this, but I hope you understand where it’s heading.
Yeah, that’s what I thought too. The graphics card came with the PC and I was hoping to play a few games on it while saving for a new one, but the frame rate makes them unplayable. Thanks for your reply.
I highly doubt you can play any game on Max even at 720p with that card other then old games
MrPancake believes it's unlikely you can run any game on Max at 720p with that card except for older titles.
He mentions having the card and playing games like GTA5 and newer ones with good performance.
He also says he has some leftover spaghetti in the fridge, which could boost your frame rate by another 2 or 3 fps if you want it.
MrPancake shared his thoughts on the situation. He mentioned he doubts playing any games on Max, especially at 720p, except for old games. He has the card and is currently running GTA 5 and other games with high framerates. He also has leftover spaghetti in the fridge, saying it could boost performance by a few frames. He wants to prove his point by showing some GTA 5 screenshots with graphics settings and gameplay.
