Nvidia GeForce Experience version 2.1.3.0 leads to reduced frame rates in Windows.
I upgraded GeForce Experience and everything from web pages to windows and folders now runs smoothly at under 30hz, though the cursor remains clear. After installing the latest driver, restarting the PC, and then uninstalling G.E., the issue disappeared temporarily. Once I reinstalled it after a reboot, it worked perfectly. However, the problem reappeared later. In games, it sometimes matches the monitor’s native refresh rate but often drops below 30fps while indicators stay high (e.g., Team Fortress 2). I frequently use Shadowplay in G.E. and am curious about what might be causing this issue or if others have faced similar problems. My system specs are: Intel Core i5 4670K @ 4.4Ghz, ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO GTX 750ti (temporary card), 16Gb DDR3 RAM @1866Mhz, displays at 1920x1080 and 1280x1024 at 60Hz. I accidentally deleted a detailed post and didn’t want to recreate it, so feel free to ask for more details if needed.
I removed and reinstalled it multiple times to resolve the issue, yet I remain concerned it might recur.
