Hello everyone, I recently purchased an old NVIDIA 7600 GPU and am running Linux Pop-OS version 21.10 with kernel 5+. The current driver works, but the NVIDIA open-source driver isn't performing well. I'm wondering if it's possible to install a proper 304.xx driver since the new one isn't quite right. I have no issues with apps that run smoothly, but there are some graphical glitches on desktop and in certain applications. This GPU is only temporary, but I'd like to fix this if it's feasible. Thanks for reading!

Given this old card, it seems Nvidia probably doesn't intend to back it with their proprietary driver. The open-source driver from the Linux community might be the only support available, though it may be limited.

Check NVIDIA drivers and Linux kernel releases — if you need the official driver, it depends on the version compatibility.
