NVIDIA Driver for PopOS
NVIDIA Driver for PopOS
Hey everyone, I built a simple Steam Link setup using an old laptop with an NVIDIA version. It worked fine at first. Now I’m facing some graphics card problems—my GTX 630M isn’t showing up in the NVIDIA X Server or driver settings. Do you know how to fix this? Maybe installing an older driver would help. Let me know!
Optimized settings detected: Intel 3rd Gen Core graphics controller (rev 09) and NVIDIA GF108M compatible with GeForce GT 620M/630M/635M/640M LE (rev a1). Running on popOS.
Drivers will change a little. Stick to the best optimization tips available. If you're only playing games, you likely won't need a GPU—IGPU should work just fine.
I think you still need to use bumblebee. here is a guide https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bumblebee#Installation
Hey everyone, just a quick note—since the laptop had more problems, I halted work on the project. Thanks for your support! Best, Andreas
