The BIOS has been activated several times, yet it hasn't slowed down performance below standard defaults. Even though it's advertised as faster, actual speeds remain at the baseline BIOS configuration. I'm ready to adjust the frequency and keep you updated!
The process changes when you only run half; consider boosting the SOC voltage instead of just 1.35V.
Are you asking about using half the RAM installed, such as two sticks instead of four? You haven’t changed the SOC voltage, and you’re curious how this might help. I’m not very familiar with this topic, so any clarification would be great for understanding it better! LOL
It adds a small voltage boost to the memory controller to handle the huge capacity you're using. What people often say about 4 sticks being a strain is just a way of explaining this issue instead of worrying about running a large setup. It should work if you adjust things a bit.
Thanks a lot! I’ll give it a shot when I’m at the office on Saturday. It does require a huge memory, but I usually use it fully when creating big 3D interactive blueprints for the engineers and builders. This really speeds up rendering—under two days now! As a startup with limited funds, we can’t afford new tools, so that’s just the way we go.
PC is no longer booting, which is disappointing. I'm planning to buy a new motherboard and PS. After they arrive, I hope to check if the CPU is still functional. Thanks to everyone who offered ideas! I'll post an update when it improves.
