Check if you can run the game on other devices and join a friend's session remotely. For Steam, ensure cross-play is enabled and that your account allows sharing or multiplayer sessions. For Minecraft, verify if the same account can connect to another machine via LAN or cloud services. Consult Steam's guidelines and your game's settings for permissions.

using steam...no family share available, so your partner can join your Minecraft sessions but not play the same game while you do. I’d consider setting up a VPN for them then.

Yes, you can still create a guest account even if you made an existing one.

If you're not using it, sharing it for multiple systems is acceptable... you only need one license. I don't think you'll be permitted to run it simultaneously more than once.

It's not feasible. You might try offline LAN by saving the game to both computers—disconnect from the internet, then connect to a local network—but other features won't function.

It seems that was likely my intention. I'll attempt it again next time.

Generally not feasible, even for simple account server scenarios. For example with BF2, having multiple accounts using the same CDkey but connecting to the same server led to both being blocked.

It depends on how the hosting is set up. If you played from your main computer and used bots, it should work as long as the system has enough resources.

LAN could function. The issue would arise if the game starts on both machines simultaneously.
